Betty joined Elevation Securities in 2013 as a Senior Analyst responsible for US Merger Arbitrage. She came from ICAP North America, where she spent two years as a Senior Analyst on their US Risk Arbitrage/Special Situations desk. Prior to ICAP, Betty spent twelve years at Credit Suisse as a buy-side analyst on their Risk Arbitrage/Special Situations Proprietary Trading Desk. At Credit Suisse, Betty was a Director and one of two senior analysts managing a $1.5bn portfolio under the Portfolio Manager.  Prior to Credit Suisse, Betty worked in Investment Banking for two years at Bear Stearns.  She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Betty enjoys playing volleyball with her daughter and chess with her son.
