John joined Elevation in 2010 shortly after the formation of its Event Driven & Merger Arbitrage Team. Before joining Elevation, he was an analyst at Alpine Associates in Cresskill, NJ for nine years, working closely with PM’s and the trading desk to help manage its Non-US portfolio’s. John was born and raised in Manhattan and is a graduate of Riverdale Country Day School and Vanderbilt University.

He now resides in Pacific Palisades, CA with his two young daughters.
